Required Documents
On the day of interview, each applicant, regardless of visa class, must submit the following documentation:
- Two bank receipts to prove that the non-refundable application fee was paid at a branch of Armeconombank.
- A printed confirmation page of the form DS-160. To apply for a United States non-immigrant visa each applicant must complete the non-immigrant visa application form DS-160. This form is available at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/. Upon successful completion of the form applicants get a confirmation page. Please note that each confirmation page should include a barcode used for scanning by consular personnel. Please see the following Presentation (PDF - 1.2MB) on the visa application process and the DS-160 form.
- A passport valid for travel to the United States. Armenian citizens must also obtain an exit stamp from the Armenian state passport agency valid at the time of visa application.
- Photograph of an applicant should be uploaded into the DS-160 form. If you’re not able to upload the photo into the online form, for which you’ll have only one chance, then you must submit one 2”x2” (5x5 cm) photograph on the day of your interview. The photograph must not be more than six months old. The photograph must be a front view of the applicant´s entire face with a plain white background. Sunglasses or other articles which detract from the face are not acceptable unless required for medical reasons (an eye patch, for example). The applicant´s head must not be covered. Please check the details on the photo requirements at http://travel.state.gov/visa/visaphotoreq/visaphotoreq_5334.html.
